If you are part of the Vancouver General Hospital staff, and you work in psychiatry, you can attend the upcoming training workshop. If you are otherwise located, please feel free to contact me to inquire into this workshop offer.

In this one hour workshop, you will learn a technique to work with patients to guide them through a mindfulness practice that suits each patient individually.

  • Learn how to guide the your patients to relax, pause their thoughts, and find a quiet inner space

  • Understand the science of mindfulness, why it works, and the relevant neuroanatomy and physics

  • Learn how to guide group discussions on how to change the brain when patients are suffering with addiction, pain, or emotional triggers

Included: training manual, audio file.

"Offering the training is part of an ongoing curiousity as to how to create positive atmospheres based in both personal practice and guiding. I am continually delighted and surprised at the beautiful internal landscapes and mind states that mindfulness can create. I so enjoy the intelligence that patients bring to the groups, and it gives me such a beautiful hope for, and faith in, the brilliance of each human being."
