Welcome to client testimonials and peer reviews.

“Now I have set practices that I can do to get myself back on track. I know that I can wake early, do my meditation and breathing, and feel better. I have more of a toolkit now and know that even if I have snapped off track that I know how to steer back. I am happier most of the time and more confident. I am way more organized with my chores and home life.”

“Many years ago, my dad read me this quote from planetary physicist Robert Jastrow: “For the scientist who has lived by his faith in the power of reason… he has scaled the mountains of ignorance, he is about to conquer the highest peak; as he pulls himself over the final rock, he is greeted by a band of theologians who have been sitting there for centuries.”

A physician by training, Dr. Maia Love is also a such a theologian. This is a very rare and special combination, enabling her to patiently help skeptics like me reconcile what is tangible and provable (comfortable, but limiting) with the profound power of what we can’t yet fully explain, but which is no less real.

In practical terms, Dr. Love has taught me how to spend 30 focused, effective minutes each day meditating on how to solve difficult business problems, giving me insights that have dramatically changed my work efficiency with surprisingly immediate results. I have been able to connect more effectively in meetings and I have found my ability to productively focus on the task at hand has soared. This experience has been transformative for me professionally and personally, and I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Love to anyone who wants to not only up their game, but understand why they’re doing it.

(That is - unless she gets too popular and I have a hard time booking more sessions - in which case, please don’t contact her).”

“The sessions with Dr Love have exceeded my expectations in so many ways. I find her coaching approach to be deeply rooted in science and this for me has created a bond of trust. Dr. Love has made suggestions that fit with my schedule, and my lifestyle and we have crafted goals together that work for me, goals that I am able to achieve with enthusiasm and this has led to positive results. My fresh personal goals have transformed the way I nourish myself and my family, grounded my sense of purpose, and I have found space and perspective in exploring an incredible new way for me to meditate mindfully.

In the time that I have been working with Dr. Love I have embarked in a new career and I have found the grounded presence through the pathways that we have created to be fully confident, present, and embodied in my new career choice. My capacity to connect fully in my personal and professional life has not only improved, it has shifted.

I feel a great sense of space and freedom that is no longer occupied by self-limiting doubts and this is a direct result of the tools that Dr. Love has suggested to me during our sessions.

I highly recommend Dr. Love's coaching to those who wish to deepen their purpose and realize a future self that is transformative.”

“On May 17, 2022, my wife and I were hit with the most painful tragedy anyone could face, the loss of our 22 month old son Georgie. While in our darkest time we knew we needed to seek help, and I was fortunate enough to be introduced to Dr. Maia Love. Maia helped me transform my well being, from zero hope, loss of all love, and unbarring pain, to seeing light, loving unconditionally, and wellness like I’ve never experienced before. Her experience, techniques and process, as long as you’re committed to do the work, will revitalize, rejuvenate, and open your mind to a new world of opportunities. Maias work on expanding my intuition, my minds thought process and future planning has given me tools not only for me, but tools I can share for the well being of my friends, colleagues, family and loved ones.”

“Maia gently guides the reader to turn towards their inner experience, flexibly paced to suit individual needs. What I found most impactful in my own journey through this course is the series of questions offering a deep dive into exploring the felt sense of embodied compassion and its possibilities. Each question can be a journey of discovery for a day, a week or a lifetime!"

“I think the course is excellent - very timely in the midst of so much mental health challenges resulting from the last two years, there is such a huge need for this! I feel that the information is high quality, evidence based. I find the voice in the guided meditations very engaging but also soothing. I love all of the photographs, visually stunning. So far, I have only done the breathing exercise but I really liked it and felt it was a good length of time.”

Colleague, Medical Health Officer, Summer 2022, Peer Review of Online Program

“I am looking forward to my future - I don’t feel like I have a foreshortened future anymore. I have a lot of hope for my future - I’m making plans for the next year and am very optimistic on my ability to follow through. In my relationship, I”m able to express more and feel more positive emotion, connection, and loving feelings which is significant - we used to talk about breaking up and now instead we are planning our future together. My wife and friends have said that I am a completely different person than years ago. I used to be very critical and was sarcastic instead of having a fun banter going on, whereas now I build people up and express more kindness.”

"The mindfulness helps me make a quiet space in my mind."

Client, Psychiatry Mindfulness Group, Spring 2018

"Before all of this happened, I felt like something wasn't right in my head. I told my wife that. And now I don't feel that way anymore. It feels like I'm getting better in my head. It doesn't feel damaged and broken like it was. It felt so wrong in the past. I could see the way I was acting was so wrong but I couldn't help it. And now I have more control.  It's like I had a broken arm, and now it's not broken anymore, I feel good again.”
